Due to the vital importance of these matters in our contract, this session became quite contentious as we debated our perspectives on the issues within these articles. We are also meeting this week, June 28 to June 30, 2016, to start preliminary discussions on the topics of medical benefits and retirement.

    Sgt. Wing Woo was seriously injured in an accident on 6/24 while vacationing with his family on Maui. Wing and his 14-year old son, Tony, were body surfing when he was hit by a large wave.  He hit his head on the ocean floor sustaining life threatening injuries.  Wing was knocked unconscious before being found by his son moments later, lifeless and unresponsive.

    Thanks to Governor Stumpy’s and all of our friends and sponsors that helped support our 8th Annual Golf Tournament held at the Deuce on June 21st.  152 golfers attended, which is more than what is typically considered a full tournament, and some teams had to be turned away. We rely on a successful golf tournament to be one of our three major fund raisers each year.
